Welcome to the Parish of Abergele!

We hope you enjoy looking at our web site. Here you will find information about our Christian worship, work and witness in a town that lies between the coastline and the Welsh countryside.

The story of this ancient parish, dating back to the 8th century, is fascinating and, 1200 years later, the church is still very much alive and provides many activities aimed at people of various ages.

The Parish Church, dedicated to St Michael, fulfils an important role in the life of Abergele. As well as regular Sunday and weekday services, it also hosts various special services for the town, its schools and organisations. St Michael’s is also popular for educational visits and musical events; from time to time exhibitions are staged.

The Pensarn area of the parish is served by St David's Church and plans to develop this site for church and community use are underway.

Do come and visit us – we look forward to welcoming you!

2009 is the Year of Saint Elfod! Click here to find out about this.
